31.Dec: I'm at the border of the accuracy of my bathroom-scale. Weighted full of Fuel and Water and Oil, but without the fairing 86.5 kg front (190.94 lbs) and 73 kg ( 161.14 lbs)-so,that's 159.5 kg or 352 Pounds.I've to add 1.5 kg for my fairing with the large lower cowling and windshield. Well, the balance may show more or less than what's fact, but if the value is correct i'd need 1.1 kg to reach the magic LESS than 160 kg. But i know where to find it: i've to develop a Carbon-Fuelcap,drill the shiftdrum, alloy clutch Plates and down to 300mm discs front would give estimated 1.3 kg less.I know it doesn't make a difference riding 161 kg or 159.7 kg,it's only reaching this value ,guess already yet nobody's 750 Sportsbike should be lighter in the World................incl.Starter,incl. lights...or?

......and even if the Bike's  suspension setting now very comfortable for road riding (it took nearly 2 month to find the setup, also i've exchanged the shock springs 6 Times ) and works under all condition, even track ,i'll go for a harder general Setup next (this) year ,to find more adhesion (grip?) on the back. Consider:with a HRC-redirection which i've installed the normal spring-rate is 90 kg/cm ,now i'm at 68 kg/cm. But think i'll go back to sth.around 74 kg.

24.Dec:after i've fixed a Problem conc.the Factory Engine, which wasn't prepared to be used with Engine Starter (now it is) i've made the first test run.Well-by the 4in1 Solution :an infernal noise at the rear End,but the Engine seems to run smoother, maybe that's caused by the rubber-cush-drive of the factory Cams. The Engine now is on FCR's. I think about building a 2nd RC30 with a Factory-Engine and factory Carbs (no flats)-but the i've to develope and build a new Airbox especially for this Solution-this drudgery i decided not to go for : this Winter.And-got a Set of HRC-Cams and a HRC deep-Oil-Sump incl Snorkel ,anyone interested?

A short Note 5.Dec:started yesterday with swapping my Engine vs. the factory-Engine.Decided to mount the FCR-Carbs-swapped some gears, the trick Alternator and the clutch from my Engine into the factory-one.Not to say too much, but if i consider the weight of only the Alternator-Cover    ...,i'm able to built a whole Alternator-System incl.a Carbon-Cover (ok-nearly).Does anybody want the lightened overrun-centre stuff from the factory Engine?I don't need an overrun-i need 2 pounds weight loose.Aaaaaaand I...,what about manufactoring alloy clutch-plates,would give another 420 gr or 0.92 pds-i know, the coating Q.Sth.different: I didn't disassemble the factory Engine before installing, normally i'd would have to do this -because i left the shiftdrum unmoded there are 250 gr you can drill out  !!! It makes me headaches. But i found moreless btw. some weight savings- thinner hoses, long hoses swap by carbon tube distance..... .And probably i'll go back to a std. lower rad, because i've got average Temp's around 68 ° in Summer, probably i will reach with std.Rad 71° then, that'll be ok,and by alloy and Water-saving i calculate another 350  gr !The factory Engine has 8kg less weight than std. (compared full road-flywheel-equipped),and about 3.5-4 kg compared with my Engine.Okok-people want to know the dry-weight,all makers give dry-weights.So,deduct 15kg fuel,3kgWater,3.5 kg Oil and you're at

 137.5 kg                    or                   303.19 Pounds

No Fluids, but Battery, lights and starter and so on                    rc home aufmacher2.jpg (86683 Byte)

YeahYeahYeah........

Guess 10 dec.the rebuilt Job of my RC30 is done, then i think i'll picture it again and built a Sitemap,so you can click on each bit and you get it larger on a new Site with some Notes regarding.Ah-forgot : made an 2 in1 adapter to save another 1.4 kg by only one can,it'll be much louder then and i guess i'll be recalled the early years with the RC30 by that sound.

Btw.: everytime i have a look at the RC30 Forum,i read Overheatening -buy a electrical Waterpump

For a couple of days or weeks this centre-view.It took full 5 days to swap the Engine-ok,no 5 days all in all for all the little mods or exchange and new fab of nearly all bits you see here:built the 2in 1 duct,

detail2in1Q5.jpg (82527 Byte)

painted of electrical Waterpump in crankcase-colour,next 10gr turning away from Alternator, cutted the wires again for shortest ways, new bracket for the Hawker 2.5 Ah batterys (you can see between sump and headers), lightened the shift/Quickshift linkage again about 130gr,exchanged the Brembo-discs vs. ISR i found on stock(a note-worn 4mm Brembos are only 40gr lighter than NEW ISR !)

    Now on ISR.JPG (87117 Byte)

,cleaning ...................,ah-and of course changed the offset from 35 to 32 mm,and passed through fork back to 2nd groove (4th groove before)
