Whoever powers up his engine has his own view about , whats the most efficient route you've to  choose to optimize the engine.

When Aristoteles studyd  Nature , he noticed , that every animal , every plant has the inner and outside Organisation , that belongs to his character  (to execute Life's Job ): not more or less.

He summerized : Nature doesn't make anything superfluous.

So, thats my recipe also:

Why do sprockets need stays ,why that thickness , a alternator proportion that'll last for a truck , why a anti -hopping made of massive steel that hardly somebody needs ,why nearly everything proportioned going to the moon or get 1000 years old ?

Get rid of !!!

A Picture : of course you know Superman ;Imagine , he holds his Hand  gently onto your Crankshaft, but step by step he grasps harder --- the effect at the end : even with 1000 hp you'll get nowhere !

Participate my experience : approved modifications with a 140 hp engine.

This tree is structured as follows:

Power increase :apart from HRC manual :FCR 39 Carburators (you'll curse you don't install them years ago !!) , Piston surface modifications (torque ! ) ,Exhaust (torque, see Carbon works:exhaust) , AIRBOX ( see Carbon works :AIRBOX ),Hints : crankshaft bearings :Clearance selection ( E-Mail ) , rear wheel axle bearings (modification /substitution +1.2 hp ):see Durbahn technical parts.

Weight decrease :

Static Weight loss of:crankcase, shift drum , pistons ( E - Mail , no photo),alternator cover , camshaft base etc..

Dynamic Weight loss of: HRC - Camshaft modification , Alternator substitution , sprockets modification , inner clutch segment substitution.
